ImageI’ve lived half my life in Melbourne, and the rest mostly in Hong Kong, London and New York.  I trained as a pharmacologist but then left academia, frustrated at how unsatisfying basic research can be.  I love to travel, and most recently visited Nepal and India.  On that trip, I learned a Buddhist meditation technique called Vipassana.  Ironically, I found this gave me great insight into Christian principles, which I’ve always respected, though without practising any kind of religion.  I’m excited about being in the IHH, because I’ve always felt that reconciliation was important, but I didn’t know how to contribute personally.  So far so good, I love it here!
