In the words of The Seekers, the carnival is over. Well not really. But it is goodbye or auf wiedersehaen as they say in German. It has been an amazing 4.5 years with some magnificent highs and some fairly miserable lows.
In the end I grew attached to community life and have found it quite a challenge to adjust to life in a small community of two.

The IHH is an amazing example of faith in action. It has shaped what I now value and hold dear. It has given me a whole new perspective on living. Luckily I’m still around to help out.
